On the Road – Episode 5
It’s been a while since I put the previous episode of “On the Road with Pieter Van Impe” online. I have quite a few queued up to share with you, and today I’ll be releasing episode 5.
In episode 5 I’ll be talking about how you can put your model / client / couple at ease by showing an interest, more so : how to ask questions.It’s weird to see myself in these clips, I recorded them a couple of months ago and have since lost a rather bulky amount of weight

The results of a quick visit to Jamy & Caroline in Knokke
I met Jamy, a very talented Dutch photographer and all round super cool guy a while ago on one of my workshops. We kept in touch through twitter, email and the occasional Skype call.
When the Dutch played the finals of the world cup soccer we drove to Breda to join Jamy & Caroline (and a lot of other Belgian & dutch people) to watch the game. Unfortunately the Dutch lost but we had a fun evening so it was all worth it .
It was then Jamy & Caroline told me they’d be spending their vacation in Knokke together with their family and some vague plans where made to meet up while they where in Belgium.The day before their last day in Knokke we met at their apartment. The sun was out and the beach was across the road, so where to go next was an easy choice! While Caroline & some of her family enjoyed the sun, Jamy & I decided to do something sporty and played quite a lot of games of petanque
.I brought my Canon 1V and some rolls of film, since we planned on doing some shooting, and since I had a very nice couple right there, what (or rather who) to shoot was an easy choice! Below you can find the results of a 30minute shoot with Jamy & Caroline on the beach. Thanks for the fun afternoon guys, I had a blast!

Liesbeth & Jan – the after-wedding shoot
Next year all my couples (yes, that might be you! or you, or you, or …) will have the option to have their wedding shoot take place on a different day.
There are multiple reasons for this :- More time on the wedding day itself to spend with friends & family
- No more stress over keeping your magnificent wedding dress dust, dirt & grass free
- The option to have your shoot at certain locations that wouldn’t have been possible on your wedding day itself
- And for me the most important reason : it gives you amazing photographs from your wedding shoot because of the huge amount of freedom we create this way

Liesbeth & Jan – an amazing wedding to kick off my 2010 wedding season!
Since this blog is brand new I’m way behind on blogging my recent weddings. Let’s change that shall we
Liesbeth & Jan’s wedding was the kick-off of my 2010 wedding season : 2 great, good-looking, fun people, a beautiful day, a great atmosphere, a nice venue (“de Renard” in Beervelde), the always-in-control and lots-of-fun master of ceremony Joris (from TheWeddingplanner.be) AND we did a kick-ass after-wedding shoot on the beach and in the sea!!!!!
Enough blabla, let’s move on to the photographs! I posted a very large selection on my Facebook page (you can check it out Here, and I’ve put a smaller selection here on my blog.
